Pay attention to the Holy Spirit this year so you can see God’s glory at work in your life.
Most of us wait for spectacular things to happen in our life for us to be thankful to God. To God, nothing is small or big, and that is why i personally believe that when God is ordering our steps towards our destiny, His will for us, most times it sounds ridiculous. We have gone to school and believe in thinking.
Our intellect seems reasonable and reliable because it states facts and common sense. No wonder most people live through life struggling because of disobeying God and not living in His perfect will for them.
You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.
I urge you to be ‘foolish’ this year by obeying God’s guidance in your life so you can experience a peaceful and content life in His rest. Quit fasting and praying unceasingly for God to change His mind from what His purpose for you is and put your desired purpose for your life in motion. Just ask God in all humility to reveal His purpose for you.
Whatever you do, do not question Him, simply take the step He will order you to and you will be amazed at how His pleasing and perfect will for you will start unfolding. These two scriptures say so much. Please meditate upon them. Time is a talent given to us by God, and it is wasted and lost when not used according to His plan. If we have lost our time until now by insisting on doing what is not in His will for us, we must double our diligence from now henceforth. Thousands on their deathbed would gladly redeem time at the price of the whole world if only they could get a second chance. You are here now, make a decision to trust and obey Him so you can redeem your time by living a purposeful and fulfilled life to the glory of His mighty Name!
Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make use of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
